Eastern Paranormal Updates

Select members of Eastern Paranormal have been contacted this weekend about participating in an investigation with two other paranormal groups providing the weather and circumstances cooperate.

We are working on three upcoming investigations over the next eight weeks. Members wishing to participate need to contact me. Also we are scheduling a "Date Night" get together in May, so those of you wanting to attend that please contact me for the location and time.

As always if you have any questions you may call me or email me at
eparanormal@aol.com or gabreael@easternparanormal.com .

I have also been contacted by several members of EP stating their co-workers are interested in joining Eastern Paranormal. If you are interested in joining EP please email me at the above address as to why you are interested in joining EP and include your telephone number.

Please note that Eastern Paranormal works on an Associate Member Program which means once trained you are called upon when needed. We require our members to train on photography, evps, and software. No one associate member goes on all investigations. In private investigations we never take more than four investigators (Maximum four, minimum two) and on historical haunts it is dependant upon the size of the location. Please also understand that more applicants are turned away from Eastern Paranormal than are accepted as associate members. We hold our members to an ethical code, any member caught breaking that code or misrepresenting EP, or their association with Eastern Paranormal is subject to immediate dismissal.

I look forward to working with everyone on the upcoming investigations. If you have any questions once again do not hesitate to contact me.

Have A Great Weekend!

EVP's

Eastern Paranormal is doing some great work in the field of EVP'S. We hope to have our EVP page up and running no later than this fall at www.easternparanormal.com . Until then enjoy these two EVP's simply by clicking on the links that we got from the first two tapings at the old jailhouse. When you click on the links it will either bring it up in your media player or Quick Time. We will also be posting some articles later on EVP'S explaining how you distinguish the difference in an EVP and a human voice, tech tips, and such.

The First One (How's that?) The question they were replying to was, "Could you please leave us a messages that make sense and replies only to our questions?" The reason we always make that statement/question on our EVP's is EP is mainly interested in collecting data for study. Many EVP's posted on the web make no sense and are just jibberish. If we are ever in doubt we throw it out.:

The Second One, which is the first one reversed ("How are ya?"):

We will also be posting some articles later on reverse speech and how it works with EVP's. We still have more video and audio to go over from that night.

Old Pender County Jailhouse

We had a great time Saturday night at the old jail house. We have reviewed around 200 of the almost 500 photos taken that night. We still have several audio and video tapes to review as well. Here is an interesting picture took outside the old jail. The first one is the original one and the second one is of the anomaly cropped. You may click on them to enlarge them.

Robin house 'haunted'
By Cameron Robertson

THERE'S a strange noise coming from Robin Gibb's home - and it's not one of his old records...it's a ghost.

The 57-year-old Bee Gees singer claims his 12th-century house is haunted by a spook who likes to play pranks on him and his family.

Robin said: "There's a resident ghost who mysteriously fills up the water in the old font in the chapel which we converted into a dining room.

"This was a place where monks would be trained for their vocation."

Robin, who sang lead vocals for Giving Up The Ghost on the band's 1987 album ESP, said he has been a keen historian since the age of eight.

He added: "I love visiting old churches and reading about historical characters. I've always had at least one history book on the go, even on tour."

No doubt the poltergeist plaguing his home in Thame, Berks, will be shifting a few of his history book around.

And if it's a really good ghost, it'll hide his Bee Gees albums, too.
